COMPASS / ADVANTAGE PS55

The COMPASS/ADVANTAGE program at PS55 aims to provide a safe and enriching environment for students after school hours. Utilizing a blend of academic support and recreational activities, this program encourages students to pursue their interests and enhance their learning experiences. Students participate in theater workshops, dance classes, and music sessions aimed at developing their artistic talents and self-expression. The curriculum encourages collaboration, discipline, and confidence-building among participants.

Reach For The Stars

SCAN-Harbor’s college-bound program, serving Harlem, East Harlem and South Bronx “at-risk” students, provides counseling, peer support, tutoring, mentoring, and test preparation, as well as help with applications for prep school, college and financial aid, and guided tours of colleges.
